Little FAT Me

I work full time and I barely have time to breathe. In 2005 hurricane Katrina rearranged my life, since then I have gained roughly 80-90 pounds. I believe that it started in depression and became an addiction. I have started and failed many diets and then decided that MAYBE if I combine diet and exercise with blogging and shopping I might be able to find success. This is the story of 2010 and my struggle to rise above addiction, pain, depression and fat.

What's in your? Fridge Edition.

It's not so much what is in your fridge as I am asking what is in there that helps you or that you are excited about? I myself am excited about my new water bottle - it's so pretty. It makes me think of a healthy earth and a happy me. Five dollars at WallyWorld but totally worth ever penny. Also it holds about 30 ounces and it has a sippy (that makes me happy.) The Greek yogurt Chobani is another thing that so completely rocks, only it is getting it's own post. (Next Thursday, 6-3-10.) It's a great addition to anyone's meal time! Bohemian Highway wine - California Chardonnay 2006, to be exact. I am not a big drinker, I am not a big winer; I really like this wine, it has a really nice, nonabrasive flavor and at 2 points for 4 ounces it really works for me. Silk PureAlmond milk - let's get this straight I am not going out to replace my milk with Almond milk, but it is a fun snack time option. It's 1 point a cup and adds a nice, light nutty flavor to cereal. With this and a plain bran flake you could have fun, low point morning. That's my fridge, tell me about yours!
